Doks Robotiks
The Jazz infused hiphop group Doks Robotiks is a nine piece band from the Chippewa Valley area of Wisconsin (where Bon Iver began) and has been turning heads for years now. When asked to create their album artwork, I knew a stagnant image would not suffice. The band brings an energy that fills a room, gets you on your feet, and is best served live. With that in mind, I wanted a unique approach to not just their album cover but as to how they present merchandise to the audience.
The album art is comprised of 36 different colorations of an illustration as an infinite loop of color complexity. By having 36 different renderings of the same image the band is able to offer unique and limited number of shirts per show, keeping with the unique closeness the band presents.
